Kaylynn Boone Nelson

I first began writing after a terrible storm caused a massive blackout. My dad handed me and my siblings each a marble notebook, a pen, and a flashlight, and off we went to scribble down stories to share later that night. I remember sitting on my top bunk bed and the thrill that rushed through me as my characters slowly came to life. I still enjoy that thrill, and I haven't stopped writing since.
